Embra Raises $18M to Build AI Chief of Staff for Executives

Embra, an AI assistant designed specifically for C-suite executives and senior operators, has raised $18M in a seed round. The company positions itself as an AI chief of staff — one that can synthesize emails, prepare briefings, draft memos, and surface key decisions from calendar chaos.

The Problem Embra Solves

Senior executives at companies with more than 200 employees spend an average of 23 hours per week in meetings and email, according to Embra internal research. The assistant integrates with Gmail, Slack, Notion, and calendar systems to provide contextual summaries, automate routine communications, and flag items requiring urgent attention.

Early design partners include three CEOs of publicly traded companies and two managing partners at top-10 private equity firms. The company plans to expand from executive use to broader knowledge worker tooling in 2027.
